A young, playful, contemporary fashion brand - NelsonBlacke was newly launched by the winner of the current year of The Hong Kong Young Designer Contest, Nelson Leung. Interesting that the brand takes the inspiration of 80s game as a start point; finding a second meaning from the old games and digital characters to emphasis the meaning of 'Fun'.

Do agree every single life like a game, we growth and getting strong after tons of experiences, no matter it's good or bad, we can't rewrite the past but to create a better you (Of course I always regret the thing I did wrongly in the past, I know it can't be fixed and trust time will give me all the way back if I have improved as I trust you will see I am trying best to keep changing in a good, mature way)
Concept is such an important element in fashion design, it affects the total mood of a collection. For this SS15 NelsonBlackle collection, it tried to prove everyone is unique and need not to care about the public's judgement. "To be what you wanna be" Nelson said.
Lots of sunglasses, twisted line with geometric graphic are easy to find from this collection to make the look standout in strong contrast color. (which is easy to get to the point of "colored sunglasses" and twisted mind isn't it?)
My favorite formal suit style played with traditional strip line fabric with geometric print, a new way and a good choice for the new formal style, not too exaggerate but unique still.
The very last last outfit was the simple print top with waist decor and legging. I super love the loose-cut sleeveless top with a Popart-liked sunglasses print.
